Despite all of the chaos, and the man made structures constricting mother nature, she will always withstand and triumph long after we are gone. Inner peace is a choice, a practice, even when surrounded with restrictions, fear or literal concrete walls like this peace lily. Nature will always find a way to renew and grow. We come from Nature and we return to Nature. If Mother Nature can survive, withstand, and thrive through chaos, I believe so can we. The meaning and title unfolds as the painting is created. With my surrealist works, they start as a vision in my head. Then, I find a way to make that vision a reality through paint.
