Series of Surrealism
"Most of my surrealist works come to me as visions. They arrive while shopping, driving, falling asleep. I'd like to think my work exists in the space between the natural and the constructed - where concrete meets root. Where the irony of mankind trying to build himself outside of Mother Nature, when, by attempting to do so, we are fighting against the foundation of what and who we are. We are, in fact, made of Nature. Below are my visions: subconscious symbols with intentional messages of the Universal Consciousness, from what I understand."
Nature & Plein Air Series
"The glimmer of light reflecting off a babbling brook, the gentle shadows cast from the trees, swaying gently in the breeze. The perfection that exists in the growth of the trees, the flowers that grow with the Golden Ratio. The secrets of nature are endless, and as I paint plein air, I hope to connect with and communicate Mother Nature's intrinsic magic."
